     This is one of the easiest ways to speeding up your computer and your internet. First, download a free adware and spyware program that are readily available online. I suggest Lavasoft's Adaware because it is so reliable and easy to use.

     Make sure that you update your definitions every time you scan your computer. This is done easily by clicking on the update tab when you run Adaware. The download should take no longer than a few minutes. Once downloaded, no further work is required. Just begin the scan to search for spyware.

     Scan your computer at least once a week. Consider more if you use your internet everyday. Scanning can take a while, but can be performed in the background while you are using the web. Let it go and see what you can find.
